Deep Vein Thrombosis

"Ultrasound scans for suspected bilateral DVT presently falls outside the funding criteria for
Primary Options. This is a funding anomaly and until resolved patients suspected of having 
bilateral DVT are not able to be managed under Primary Options and should be referred to 
the acute thrombosis service at Waitakere or North shore hospitals".
